As you know from reading Steve Sharp's letter in the Febuary 2006
'Practical Sailor', our Doe
waterproof LED marine reading lights have quite a following in the South Pacific. The Doe was our first LED spot (reading) light,
however both our Rinorino 12 volt, 12 LED light and our Kacau 24 volt, 12 LED light all have the same form factor.
Regardless of which one of these models you purchase, here are just a few more installations of this style of
our lights on sailing vessels which are cruising the Fiji Islands.
| Talk about slick ideas! Using an 'ordinary' UPVC 'T', Rick has made a waterproof dodger reading light.
Something that facinates us is how much you would have to pay for a UPVC part if it wasn't turned out by the millions. |

The 'custom fit' dust cover above is a 35mm film can cover. I love people with imagination! |

| This installation really surprised me. Using the diffuser, Rick and Mary on S/V Capensis are very happy with their
new area light. They removed the fluro tubes to do this. I might have considered keeping both lighting sources (the fluro and the Bebi LED lights), and
used a double pole, center off switch, so as to retain both types of lights. |

I guess you can say that our LED light bulbs assemblies have resulted in a night and day difference aboard 'Capensis'. |

| David on S/V 'Macy', who purchased his Doe lights in the US, called on us
here in Fiji, made this cabin light from bamboo. A very neat job and a touch of unique touch of class!

| Not to be outdone, Luc and Jackie aboard S/V 'Sloepmouche', made these contributions. Luc is a fairly frequent contributor to the
SSCA Bulletin. In case you missed it, we offer a 10% discount to SSCA members,
just email us with your particulars. |
| Although not a Doe, Luc came up with this thought shown below. Yes,
that's an ordinary coffee cup that he glued one of our Beka lights into and added a snap type rail clamp for extra flexibility in the cockpit. (Photos by Luc) |

Our mascot, Bebi (pronounced mbambi in Fijian, is dazzeLED with our customers! If you come up
with a unique way of mounting our lights, send us some pictures. If we have your permission, and we decide to add them
to our web site, we will give you a free Doe!
